Hollywood Cars Terms and Conditions
Hollywood Cars is a Liverpool-based booking agent managing bookings for Liverpool City Sights vehicles. Our fleet includes a 13-seater limousine, a 16-seater mini party bus, and a 64-capacity open-top double-decker party bus. We strive to provide safe, enjoyable, and memorable experiences for all guests. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all our clients.

1. Booking Payment and Security Deposit
1.1. **Booking Payment**: To confirm your reservation, a Booking Payment is required based on the service and vehicle selected, as specified in your original quotation. This payment covers all standard booking fees associated with the vehicle(s) you have chosen from the Hollywood Cars fleet.
1.2. **Security Deposit**: A Security Deposit is also required in addition to the Booking Payment. This deposit secures your booking and will be refunded upon completion of the service, provided the vehicle and service are used responsibly and in line with these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. **Deductions from Security Deposit**: Should there be any breach of these Terms and Conditions (such as vehicle damage, disorderly behaviour, or excessive cleaning requirements), Hollywood Cars reserves the right to deduct any necessary charges from the Security Deposit to cover costs incurred.
1.4. **Deposit Amounts**: Security Deposit amounts vary depending on the specific vehicle booked. Please review your original quotation to confirm the deposit required for your chosen vehicle. By proceeding with your booking, you agree to these amounts.
2. Guest Conduct
2.1. **Responsible Behaviour**: All guests are required to behave responsibly to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all passengers.
2.2. **Driver and Staff Instructions**: Guests must follow all instructions given by the driver and any Hollywood Cars staff at all times.
2.3. **Respect and Courtesy**: We expect all guests to act with respect toward Hollywood Cars staff, as well as other passengers and the general public. Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
2.4. **Anti-Social Behaviour**: Abuse, harassment, and any form of anti-social conduct will result in immediate action and may lead to early termination of the journey. Hollywood Cars reserves the right to involve law enforcement if necessary.
2.5. **Seating Requirements**: For safety reasons, all guests must remain seated during the journey. Standing in a moving vehicle, especially in our open-top bus, poses serious safety risks and is strictly prohibited.
2.6. **No Smoking Policy**: Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in any Hollywood Cars vehicle, including our open-top buses.
2.7. **Alcohol Consumption**: Alcohol may only be consumed by guests aged 18 or older. Hollywood Cars staff may request identification to verify the legal drinking age of passengers.
2.8. **Children’s Supervision**: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
2.9. **Adult-to-Child Ratio**: A minimum of one adult must accompany every ten children. If this ratio is not met, Hollywood Cars reserves the right to refuse service and may deduct the Security Deposit accordingly.
2.10. **Prohibited Activities**: Hollywood Cars reserves the right to refuse or terminate service in the case of illegal or prohibited activities, including drug use, theft, or vandalism. In such instances, the Security Deposit may be retained, and law enforcement may be contacted.
2.11. **Vehicle Condition**: Guests are responsible for leaving the vehicle in good order and a reasonable state of cleanliness. Any excessive cleaning requirements, damages, or theft may result in deductions from the Security Deposit.
2.12. **Excessive Damage Charges**: If damages or theft result in charges exceeding the Security Deposit, Hollywood Cars may pursue additional charges and may take legal action if necessary.
3. Booking Amendments
3.1. **Approved Occupants**: Only individuals included in the confirmed booking are permitted to occupy the vehicle.
3.2. **Confirmation and Modifications**: Hollywood Cars will confirm your booking by email. Any changes to the booking (e.g., additional guests, route alterations, or schedule adjustments) must be communicated to Hollywood Cars at least two weeks before the scheduled booking date. While we will do our best to accommodate these changes, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.
3.3. **Same-Day Changes**: Any requests for changes on the day of service cannot be honoured. Attempted same-day changes may result in a deduction from the Security Deposit.
4. Cancellations
4.1. **Cancellation Notification**: If you need to cancel your booking, please inform Hollywood Cars as soon as possible.
4.2. **Two-Week Notice Requirement**: Cancellations made at least two weeks before the service date will result in the return of the Booking Payment. However, the Security Deposit will be retained as per our policy.
4.3. **Credit for Future Bookings**: If a cancellation occurs within two weeks of the service date, the Booking Payment will be refunded, and the Security Deposit will be converted into a credit note, redeemable for future Hollywood Cars services.
4.4. **Non-Refundable Scenarios**: Refunds for the Booking Payment and Security Deposit are not provided in the following cases:
- The customer cancels without providing at least two weeks’ notice.
- A force majeure event (e.g., severe weather, local emergencies) prevents Hollywood Cars from fulfilling the booking.
4.5. **Force Majeure Credits**: In situations where both Hollywood Cars and guests are unable to proceed with the booking due to unavoidable circumstances (e.g., Covid-19 restrictions), Hollywood Cars will issue a credit note for both the Booking Payment and Security Deposit. This credit may be applied to future services, subject to availability and compliance with legal and government guidelines.
4.6. **Hollywood Cars’ Cancellations**: If Hollywood Cars must cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, both the Booking Payment and Security Deposit will be refunded in full within 28 days.
5. Breakdowns and Service Interruptions
5.1. **Compensation for Breakdowns**: In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown or service interruption, Hollywood Cars will calculate a fair partial refund based on the distance travelled and duration of the completed service.
6. Payment Process
6.1. **Bank Transfer Requirement**: All payments, including the Booking Payment and Security Deposit, must be made by bank transfer within one week of booking confirmation to secure your reservation.
